Usually, in this type of literature, the good always triumphs over evil to show what could happen if a person acted in this evil way.

What she says is very true. She also said:

In literature, movies, and shows, evil never wins. But sadly, in real life, usually, evil gets away with anything.

Unfortunately, this is also true.  It was easy enough for terrorists to hijack three planes and land them where they wished.  In the movies, some hero or heroine shows up and saves the day.  If this were true, no one would ever have to worry about buildings being blown up.  There would be no reason for people to be worried about getting on a bus or a plane.  People would still be allowed to take bottled liquids onto a flight.  I find it incredible that Hollywood producers and directors can live with themselves knowing that they are misleading the world into thinking that evil will never triumph.  Every day someone is murdered.  Every day people are arrested for evil deeds they have done.  Although many of these criminals are caught, just as many get away.  They will either be caught eventually, or will successfully get out of the country, or go into hiding.  Too many criminals are successfully getting away with their evil deeds, and it has gotten so bad that criminals can use law-enforcement agencies technology against them.  Evil is not so easy to stop as many people believe.
